WHAKAPAPA

Te Pou Waiora logo has deeply connected within the Ngāti Awa tribe, and its name, gifted by Te Tāwera hapū, carries profound meaning.  Te Pou Waiora represents a pillar of well-being, connecting genealogically with iwi across Aotearoa, symbolising unity, resilience, and a shared heritage.

In alignment with its foundational values, it is suggested that Iramoko Marae serve as the affiliated marae for Te Pou Waiora. This connection to Iramoko Marae not only strengthens the organisation’s ties to the Ngāti Awa people but also grounds its identity and values in a tangible, culturally significant place.

Te Pou Waiora’s identity and brand, including its logo, trademark, and unique identity. It represents not only the whakapapa of Te Pou Waiora but also the collective spirit and heritage of its people. The genesis and foundation of Te Pou Waiora, founded in the mana and traditions of Ngāti Awa, Te Tawera guided by Te Tāwera hapū and connected through whakapapa to iwi across the land.
