Jane Bawden has experience in law, governance and operations with a wide variety of roles across the disability sector. Her most valuable expertise comes from her role as mum and ally of her adult son who lives with very high support needs, in his own home and community. Jane’s most recent experience includes her role with the Royal Commission on Abuse in State Care as chief advisor disability, leading the disability and mental health teams through hearings and report development and she was also formerly the CEO of Parent to Parent NZ. Jane has many years experience as legal advisor to many organisations across the disability and health sectors.
